The Global Takeover Of 'Minecraft' Earth Beta' Starts This Month

  It's been a couple of months since we first learned about Minecraft Earth, the augmented real-world version of the game that lets you experience the real world playscape packed with your blocky creations. It's uooka time It promised a beta release of the game would arrive this summer and now it's out, along with a brand new trailer, the company claims it will launch on iOS within the next two weeks, with Android following soon following that. After witnessing live gameplay during WWDC last month, the release of iOS-first shouldn't be too surprising. The trailer provides more details about the game. However, it's worth looking at the Apple demo to find out the game's features and if you have any queries. You will need to sign up for the game for free. According to the FAQ, your device must be running iOS 10 or Android 7. Access is being limited as they try to distribute load on the game's servers, however you'll need to be active in order to remain in it -- if you do not play for seven days then someone else will take your slot.
